Best place: for morning pick-me-ups and weekend cheer
Download the app because once you try a Black Sheep Coffee, you’ll be back. Seriously good coffee, matcha, gut health lattes, smoothies, iced matcha cbd and even babycinos are partnered with delicious filled bagels, Norwegian waffles (Nutella and banana, anyone?), fruit salads and smoothie bowls.

Best for: good coffee and outdoor vibes
The compact and welcoming Redemption Roasters kiosk in the Pavilion of Broadgate is an essential visit for morning coffees with delicious serves just the way you want them. On a sunny morning, pick a spot outside and enjoy a tasty pastry too. Redemption Roasters is also one of the most socially responsible brands in the UK training up prison leavers and people at risk of offending to give them the skills they need to gain meaningful and secure employment.

The Gran Caffé at Eataly
Best place: going for a little treat Italian-style
The Gran Caffé by the entrance of Eataly brings a twist of Italian flair to Liverpool Street. Inspired by the elegant cafes of Italy, stop for perfectly served espressi and cappuccini with Instagrammable sweet dolci including cornetti, macarons, cake and biscotti.
illy is the coffee provider known for their world-renowned, unique blend of nine different types of Arabica so take some time out to enjoy a moment of pure bliss. They also serve bar snacks until late while the markets of fresh pasta, homemade rosemary focaccia and Italian wines are impossible to walk past without buying something.

BloomsYard
Best place: for meetings during the week
Located up the escalators next to the truly breathtaking reception of 100 Liverpool Street with comfy tables and sofas overlooking Broadgate Circle, BloomsYard is a female-founded indie brand to know.
Ideal for creative work meetings thanks to its spacious tables, it’s also a great place to spend some time away from your desk with your laptop. Their coffee is provided by South London’s Assembly and their flat whites are particularly delicious. They also serve pastries, sandwiches and carefully sourced wines in the evening.

Attendant
Best for: speciality coffee
Attendant co-founder and CEO Ryan De Oliveira used to walk past this store when he worked around the corner so he understands the need for good coffee all day long. And the Attendant won’t let you down with croissant, pain au chocolat or pastel de nata paired with your favourite coffee for £5, bircher muesli bowls, iced and matcha lattes.

Beany Green
Best for: Aussie joy
Beany Green was one of the founding coffee spots at Broadgate and they’ve gone from strength to strength across London with their signature Aussie flat whites, bringing that intense kick others sometimes miss (they explain: “Our highly acclaimed Daisy Green bespoke espresso blend combines speciality grade beans from Brazil, Guatemala & Colombia to create a smooth, chocolatey and nutty espresso blend with just a touch of acidity.” Yum.)
Stop off for brunch and lunch and tuck into everything from sweetcorn fritters and shakshouka to The Bondi (bacon, poached eggs, chilli and fennel sausage, mushrooms, avocado, house chilli pesto and charcoal sourdough).

Grind
Best for: when you want to try something new
Start thinking about what to drink because Grind has the biggest selection imaginable – then order ahead and earn rewards with the Grind app. It goes without saying that their coffee is good (and available in pods, ground and whole beans for you to take home) but it’s also worth noting that they also have a vast array of lattes (beetroot, turmeric, chai and charcoal), peach and raspberry iced teas, salted caramel frappe and more. Coco Di Mama
Best for: caffeine and healthy fixes on the go
Coco Di Mama are known for the delicious pots of lunch pasta but are also just what you need if you’re in a rush on a morning. Double espressos, cortados, lattes and hot chocolates are served alongside delicious iced coffees (try the pistachio), passionfruit and lemon iced tea, mochas and Dash waters. They’ve also got hot boxes of pesto, mushroom and avo; crispy bacon on sourdough and superfood porridge.

Best for: quick and easy service
Sometimes all you want in life is a cheese toastie with spring onion from Pret and an oat milk latte. So embrace your morning cravings with Pret’s breakfasts of chocolate croissants, creamy porridge and matcha bowls. The Club Pret subscription has also been given a makeover for 2025 with half-price drinks up to five times a day for just £5 (£10 after 31 March).

Yolk
Best for: truly delicious coffees
Yolk’s stacked sarnies are the stuff of legend… Set up in reaction to the dull sandwiches available for lunch, Yolk is now opening new spots across the UK (you can even become a Yolk partner) but their first store was right in the heart of Broadgate. Describing themselves as “coffee obsessives”, they use Caravan beans, Estate Dairy milk, ceremonial-grade PerfectTed matcha and Storm teas with baristas given extensive and careful training so every single cup is a delight. The brilliant BrewClub also offers a free drink on sign-up then different levels of points and discounts for regular customers.
