The Aussie bottomless brunch at Beany Green

Beany Green founder Prue Freeman is an expert when it comes to weekend brunch: “I’d book some 1Rebel classes beforehand [Rounds, Reshape and Rumble classes are on all morning] or take a walk to Columbia Road flower market and through the East End so you’re really hungry”. She then recommends ordering “the healthy no-carb celeriac with chilli or we do a fancy bacon roll: roti, eggs, crispy onions, spicy sauce and spinach.”

Their bottomless brunch menu is also on hand every day (8am-3.30pm) and 7pm on weekends (last orders at 5.30pm) with one savoury dish, one sweet dish (smashed avocado on charcoal bread and the award-winning banana bread sandwich, thanks very much). It comes with free-flowing mimosas and prosecco for a leisurely 90 minutes for £42.50pp.

DJ brunches at Nest

Every Saturday from 12pm-4pm, Nest hosts brunches on Bishopsgate (grab a table under the blossom tree on warm days) while DJ Spiral takes over the decks for an afternoon soundtrack like no other. With bottomless cocktails (brunch is £15 with a £25 supplement for drinks) created by their mixologists and a menu featuring veggie rarebit, steak frites, brunch burger and eggs, this is the best way to spend your Saturday.

The immersive brunch at Mrs Foggs

Mrs Fogg’s weekend brunches are legendary (plus they’re launching a Sunday one now too) with two courses of delicious food and free-flowing pink prosecco (from £25pp-£45). Taking place on a would-be Victorian steamship with a live band, choose from starters of pastries and cardamom yoghurt, eggs of your choice, full breakfasts (for vegans, meat-free sausage, truffled portobello mushroom, roasted vine tomatoes, spinach, beans and a homemade potato hash brown), waffles and bubble and squeak.

Cocktails and fizz brunches at All Bar One

From 10am daily, All Bar One offers up brunches of delight with berry bowls, truffle scrambled eggs, waffles and shakshuka. Choose from vegan smoothies or, if it’s a celebration, £30pp means unlimited Prosecco, Tanqueray London Dry Gin & tonic, Aperol Spritz or your choice of flavoured Daiquiris. For £10 more, enjoy unlimited Porn Star Martini, Espresso Martini or Long Island Iced Tea.

Weekday brunches at Grind Liverpool Street

Cosy up in a booth and enjoy an incredible brunch menu from Grind. It’s got everything you could possibly be in the mood for: coconut yoghurt, rhubarb, chia seeds, house granola; smashed avocado, poached eggs, chilli, toast; full vegetarian breakfast, eggs as you like, avocado, sweet potato cake, hash brown, mushrooms, slow-roasted tomatoes, spinach, aubergine, baked beans, toast or sandwiches from midday. Their bottomless brunch on weekend is £16 extra for (responsible) drinks. Add a portion of invisible chips for £3 and Grind will  match the donation for Choose Love – a charity doing whatever it takes to help refugees and displaced people from the crisis in Ukraine.

Electro brunch feasts at Gaucho

From 11am-4pm on Saturdays, Gaucho serves up a brunch of beats and melodies with curated house music from DJs. It’s £65 for unlimited drinks per person and a menu of choripan sandwich (chorizo sausage, chimichurri mayo, crispy shallots and brioche roll), smashed avocado, eggs every way, steak and eggs, banana bread and Eton mess.

Elegant brunches at Yauatcha City

Head to Yauatcha City on Saturdays from 12pm-5pm for dim sum platters of scallop shui mai; edamame and truffle dumpling; seafood black truffle dumpling; har gau; venison puff and sesame prawn toast rub shoulders with stir-fry rib eye beef and steamed chilli prawn mains. Welcome cocktails and a half-bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial add to this wonderfully decadent brunch for £68pp.

The Botanist’s fun brunch

With £9.99 for bottomless drinks of Heineken, Amstel, Bloody Mary, Prosecco, house white, rosé and red wine (upgrade to Joseph Perrier Champagne) and £32 for two courses, The Botanist serves up brunches on the weekend. Starters include salt and pepper squid and sriracha mayonnaise or tenderstem broccoli, rose harissa yoghurt, shaved fennel and orange salad while mains feature roast cornfed chicken breast, truffle and Parmesan terrine, shiitake mushrooms and chicken jus or pan-roasted Atlantic cod, charred and puréed cauliflower, pickled golden raisins, Noilly Prat cream. Incredible puddings are also on offer.
