Best for: A big night out with friends, cocktails and good food

With a huge tables for groups out and a handy app that makes waitress service super-simple, All Bar One remains the perfect go-to whether you fancy a long lunch or cocktails on a weekend night with lots of friends. A super-friendly bar team and uplifting soundtracks make this the perfect spot for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding celebrations and more. The cocktail menu is particularly good featuring fun drinks (don’t miss their iconic Espresso Martini – Ketel One vodka, Tia Maria, sugar syrup and coffee garnished with coffee beans) while their vegan, veggie and grazing boards have something for everyone (their kids’ menus are spot on too if you pop in on the afternoon with little ones).

Bar Douro City
Best for: Great food and wine on the outdoor terrace

The heated outdoor seating at Bar Douro City is like stepping off the plane – covered in traditional azulejos tiles, hand painted at Cerâmica de Bicesse and inspired by 15th century motifs from the Museu Nacional do Azulejo, you could be kicking back in Lisbon enjoying Portuguese petiscos and wines sourced with care and love. Book a spot for a long lunch or head over for after-work drinks and enjoy wines by the glass and a menu that moves from sardines to Onglet steak with a slow-cooked egg, matchstick potatoes on a bed of esparregado (creamed spinach).

BloomsYard
Best for: Catching up with friends after work

While it might be known for its coffee, sandwiches and baked goods during the day, come evening BloomsYard transforms into a sun-filled spot overlooking Broadgate Circle. With a menu that’s full to the brim of natural wines, prosecco and craft bottles of beer and pale ale (complemented with plates of “picky things” – cheese, charcuterie, olive and nuts), this is a gem of a destination.

Eataly
Best for: Aperitivi on the terrace

Conjuring up the Amalfi Coast in the heart of London, La Terrazza di Eataly is serving up seasonal and classic cocktails, wine, beer or Aperol Spritz from the Aperol Spritzeria plus cocktails alla grande which can be enjoyed between four to six people. With food from the Eataly markets also on hand (such as pan pizza, fresh pasta and fresh mozzarella and Italian cheeses made on site in the cheese laboratory), you cannot find a more summery spot. Cin cin!
