The Elevated Trends for Spring/Summer 2025

and the best places to shop them at Broadgate

Bringing a sense of renewal and refresh, spring/summer 2025’s mood is rooted in nature with buttercup yellow, strawberry scents, cherry lips and coastal chic taking over. There are also fun nods to power dressing, metallic couture and the arrival of ‘butter skin’ – so indulge yourself in the new season with the luxury brands and boutiques of Broadgate next to Liverpool Street.

With Space NK, L’Occitane, Kiehl’s and Neom home to the latest beauty trends and beautifully tailored men’s and women’s clothes at Tommy Hilfiger, Reiss, Gant, Hackett London and Dune London (plus elegant timepieces at Watches of Switzerland), Broadgate is the perfect place to shop for spring.

(Then swing by Grind, Eataly or Lina Stores for aperitivi, cocktails and bar snacks to unwind.)

Powder pastels

Butter yellow, candy pink and calming pale blue – spring is definitely in the air as the dark hues of winter are cast off in favour of mini egg-style shades. Reiss is embracing these sweet colours across fluid, draped dresses, tailored suits with minis or trousers, while these colours are translated into their new season linen shirts for men too.

Powerful suiting for men and women

Stella McCartney’s latest show at Paris Fashion Week – autumn/winter 2025 – was all about Eighties power dressing with overstated shoulders, double-breasted jackets and button accents. It’s a look to embrace now thanks to Gant’s blazers, button-up shirts and preppy layers and Tommy Hilfiger’s jackets paired with wide-leg jeans.

It’s a feeling that’s intrinsic to Hackett London’s menswear ranges too – mix your layers for laidback power dressing bringing their signature East Coast style to your wardrobe.

Butter skin

The next step along from high-shine glass skin is butter skin – a softer, more dewy take for spring (see Anok Yai and Mikey Madison at the Oscars) that’s been inspired by new arrivals such as Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Gel Tint at Space NK (it had a waitlist of 12,000 people). With ingredients including triluronic acid, niacinamide, squalane, aloe water, and hemp seed oil and in 15 shades, it gives a natural glowing finish.

Other butter skin arrivals at Space NK include K-beauty Then I Met You’s Purify and Plump Duo and Honey Dew Lip Mask that’s packed with antioxidant-rich honeydew and squalane and Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Contour.

Kiehl’s four-step skincare (daily Ultra Facial Cleanser, once-a-week Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion, Ultra Facial Toner, Vital Skin-Strengthening Hyaluronic Acid Super Serum, Ultra Facial Cream and SPF) will ensure a flawless, healthy base and, for an omega-rich skincare legend, try L’Occitane’s overnight Immortelle Divine Cream.

Slouchy tactile bags and charms

This is the season of the oversized bag carried underneath your arm and personalised with cute charms. Dune London’s suede, XL Deliberate shape and fruit-shaped charms and chains are everything you need.

Gemstones are everywhere

Whether you’re embracing gold or silver (mixing your metals is a huge look right now), a pop of colour from gemstones is the way to go. Inspired, Monica Vinader is launching the new sustainable Odyssey collection on 31st March with 100% traceable gemstones, mined, cut, and handcrafted by women trained through their initiative in Jaipur. The cocktail earrings from the collection are just beautiful.

Gourmand scents with musk

We’ve had the pistachio trend and now the scents of the moment are bringing patisserie and coffee to Space NK: Juliette Has A Gun’s brand new release, Miami Shake, blends wild strawberries with whipped cream, an ice-cream cone accord, vanilla and creamy musk while DS & Durga’s latest, Brown Flowers, has a sharp, citrusy scent with notes of sambac jasmine, brown orchid, coffee and aged musk. Or head to Kiehl’s for the classic unisex Musk eau de toilette with bergamot nectar, orange blossom and musk.

The new nautical

Elevated athleisure has been a huge trend for the past few seasons as tailored outerwear met technical fabrics that weren’t just pretty, but practical too. For this season, there’s a strong nautical look coming through (see Miu Miu and Proenza Schouler) as primary coloured stripes meet crisp, oversized white shirts and sweaters slung over shoulders (think the early Sixties Jackie Kennedy at Hyannis Port). Gant and Tommy Hilfiger are at the forefront of the trend.

Total body care

Luxury body care is having a moment at Space NK as we start to prep for summer. Laura Mercier’s Honey Bath is back by huge demand and transforms any soak into a spa-like experience, leaving skin feeling deeply nourished and hydrated. There’s also Tata Harper Revitalizing Body Oil and Resurfacing Body Serum which hydrate, restore, refine and renew skin texture.

For a lasting pampering night in, add L’Occitane’s indulgent Almond Shower Oil and Neom’s bestselling Perfect Night’s Sleep Pillow Mist, Super Shower Body Cleanser, Real Luxury Skin Intensive Treatment Candle and reed diffusers in fragrances across all four of NEOM’s core wellbeing pillars (better sleep, less stress, mood boost and more energy) to your beauty wishlist.

Watch trends for spring/summer 2025

Watches of Switzerland is home to brands including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Tag Heuer and more. For women’s watches, yellow gold is one of the big trends for spring/summer 2025 (see the Baignoire De Cartier mini model) while colourful faces in green and pink are breaking out too (see Gucci’s Interlocking watch from its latest collection).

For men, go for vintage finds (Watches of Switzerland have an incredible selection); smaller, more delicate designs (Paul Mescal has been wearing a tiny Cartier Tank) and minimalist (less is definitely more).

Timeless footwear

Shoes are staying classic for this season. Dune London has a gorgeous selection of ballet flats and cork wedges which will work across spring and into summer. Pair with spring denim and bubble hems. For men, smart leather sandals will work for downtime with classic lace-ups for work.

Metallic moments

Dior, McQueen, Fendi, Balenciaga… the spring/summer 2025 catwalks were awash with statement metallics. If you want to channel the trend without going head to toe, then Reiss’s metallic V-necks, Tommy Hilfiger’s heels and Gant’s leather sneakers will bring the look.

Cherry lips

Cherry red is having a moment (see Tommy Hilfiger’s Sofia suit) and lips are the quick and easy way to channel the colour without too much commitment. Summer Fridays, Glossier, and RMS Beauty all have gorgeous cherry shades at Space NK.

Beautiful hands

Mocha mousse and sheer pinks continue to be a manicure moment – but spring means going to the next level with brand new hydrating hand washes from Neom. Try the Great Day Duo which features Hand Wash blended with orange peel and olive crush to gently exfoliate and Lotion blended with skin-loving shea butter and refreshing mandarin and gooseberry. Or head to L’Occitane for their cult Shea Intensive Hand Balm – use often for softer hands or give yourself a deeply nourishing hand mask.
