From seamless step-free routes to thoughtfully created facilities, we are committed to ensuring that all visitors can enjoy a comfortable experience when visiting.

Step-Free Access and Blue Badge Parking

Broadgate Central is located directly opposite Liverpool Street station, which offers step-free access to the main concourse and platforms 1–17 (visit the Network Rail website for more information). Blue Badge parking spaces are available nearby (view them here), providing added convenience for those arriving by car. A taxi drop-off point is also situated at the corner of Eldon Street and Blomfield Street, just a short distance from the main entrance.

Changing Places Facility

Our new Changing Places facility, located on the lower ground floor of 1 Broadgate, has been created to provide a fully accessible experience for visitors who require additional support. Accessed with a RADAR key, the facility includes:

  • An overhead hoist system
  • An adult-sized, height-adjustable changing bench
  • An adjustable wash basin
  • Grab rails and a privacy screen

High-quality finishes and a carefully considered colour palette provide a continuation of Broadgate Central’s premium feel, while creating a calm environment for neurodiverse visitors. Specialist features throughout the space are designed to ensure every visit is comfortable and dignified.

As one of only four Changing Places facilities in the City of London, this addition greatly enhances accessibility within the area. The space includes a 24/7 monitored emergency alarm system connected directly to the on-site control room, with dedicated cleaning support during public WC opening hours to maintain the highest standards. Clear signage with Changing Places icons are in place across Broadgate Central to help visitors navigate with ease.

Additional Accessible Toilets

In addition to the Changing Places facility, Broadgate Central provides further accessible toilets on the lower ground floor, in addition to a baby changing facility and mixed gender toilets, ensuring visitors can access facilities quickly and comfortably while enjoying the our shops, dining options and experiences.

Lift Access

Broadgate Central provides two external public lifts connecting the ground and lower ground levels, enabling smooth step-free movement between Broadgate Central, plus the bars and restaurants in the neighbouring Broadgate Circle.
